From a young age, I’ve been fascinated with the emotional power of art and storytelling. No matter the medium, carefully curated details in service of the big picture have the remarkable ability to transform a “thing” into an evocative human experience. In my studies at Northwestern University, I gained a unique understanding of how science and technological development play an integral role in shaping human culture by facilitating novel artistic and aesthetic experiences.
After university I spent over 5 years working in production for major motion pictures and broadcast television, where my job was to manifest the vision of creative department heads into reality. I cut my teeth on translating million-dollar abstract ideas into actionable plans and "getting it done yesterday," all the while anticipating and satisfying the needs of dozens of stakeholders.
I then turned my focus to expanding my own creative endeavors and began designing and fabricating immersive experiential artwork and installations for music festivals, live events, and private clients, ultimately leading me to help create create world-class interactive XR/AR/VR experiences for some of the biggest brands on the planet.
Looking back, it’s no surprise that my background in music, performance, and making things in the family garage have led me to forge a path into experiential art & design. For me, art and design provide an opportunity to connect deeply with people on an emotional level and form a uniquely human connection.
